Costa Electronics is a small local family owned business that has been located in the Metro Nashville / Wilson County area since 1981 where we have been located off Lebanon road in Hermitage / Old hickory, and then in Mount Juliet for over 30 years on the corner of South Green Hill road.

When Costa Electronics first opened, we specialized in c-band satellite systems (the old big dish), TV repair, had a video rental store, music center and even a small recording studio.

Jim the original owner was in the home electronics business since the late 50s where he installed TV antennas and serviced vacuum tube based TVs. He actually installed and serviced TVs for Service Merchandise, Wards, Sears, and other big box retailers of the time.

I started working for Jim briefly in 1992, then went back to work for him in 1996 where I became an integral part of the business until I purchased the business from him when he retired in 2010.

Jim was a great mentor and although he may have been a little rough around the edges, which I have been accused of also, he was always an honest and straight shooting businessman.

Jim served his country in Korea where he was a member of the 82nd and the 101st airborne. After his service he used the GI Bill to come home and get trained in electronic engineering which at the time was in its infancy.

We now continue that legacy by providing excellent customer service, installations and repair. We have such a long-term reputation in Wilson County and surrounding areas that our name and location is known by just about everybody living in the area. We have such a good reputation we are highly recommended by home builders, realtors, neighbors, insurance companies, neighborhood Facebook groups, and many other organizations and people.

We Believe in providing excellent customer service for a fair rate and we never try to inflate prices or upsell you to equipment you may not need which seems to be the name of the game for most companies in today's world. Although you can't please everybody, we certainly give it a good try and our Google and Facebook reviews from our actual paying customers certainly reflect that.
